But first I had to get from Niederkassel to Oer-Erkenschwick this morning.
This time, however, not via “beautiful” but directly via the Autobahn.

However you want to express it, the old man is back in Niederkassel.

No major quirks from the trip, a bit dusty in the displays, a bit of “mopping damply” should help, but otherwise …… not like new ….. rather hardly used.
Not far to Niederkassel. Since yesterday, Uli has been talking about the “stable smell” that he notices.
If he had said he smelled the Rhine, I would actually have been worried, but everyone who has ever traveled to the Bermuda triangle between Bonn, Cologne and Leverkusen for tourist reasons knows about the smell of the stables……
Sometimes it is difficult for the old gray cells to keep up with what is happening and to save everything that has happened.
So I actually have to consult the geodata of the pictures and try to reconstruct the day like this.
Many years ago, a trainee in nursing threw this rather humorous saying at me. Quasi a corruption of the usual entry in the medical record, where of course bowel movements and food are exchanged……
The sentence is just as beautiful: “Let me doctor, I’m done…”.
Imagine studying for years, writing and passing several tests and then, when it really matters, just missing the mark. Tragic!
